Calm before the storm, gives me time for thought, All those people I have known, still I'm standing here alone, Those summer days seem far away, All memories of you at play. (Instrumental) All is all I've got to give to you, All my open arms can hold, Is all enough to make you mine again? Or is all a mountain I'm to climb to win? All is all I've got to give to you, All my open arms can hold, And if all is not enough to make you mine, Then there is nothing left at all. Calm before the storm, gives me time for thought, All those people I have known, still I'm standing here alone, Those summer days seem far away, All memories of you at play. (Instrumental)

My love I don't know how to tell you But my heart belongs to someone new Please believe I didn't mean to hurt you It's just sometimes it''s best to tell the truth. My love I know you'll find another A girl who'll be so good to you And in time you'll learn to love each other And you'll be glad I told you we were through. Enjoy the time we've left together Remember all those days gone by Please don't cry cos I can feel your sorrow Wait til tomorrow to say goodbye. My love I hate to have to tell you But my heart belongs to someone new Please believe me when I say I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel so blue.

about

This album - my fourth - marks my first year as a resident of Watchet, a little town on the West Somerset coast, UK. It begins with a sunrise over the town and ends with a sunset. Thank you to the Watchet Town Band for the inspiration required to pen the brass band-sounding pieces.
Recorded between September 2018 and March 2019 on the earth-shatteringly ancient 1980s technology of the Technics SX-G100 organ, which I inherited from my father. And as Technics no longer exists, when the organ dies it will be impossible to repair and thus my music will come to an end.
All tracks written, arranged and performed by Andrew Warner (I do everything). And if anyone can accurately say what music genre this is I'd be obliged if they'd inform me.
Email me via andrewwellswarner.bandcamp.com where my other three albums can be found.

Bear in mind, I am not a talented musician, nor am I a born entertainer. I am purely a "hobby composer" who turns ideas into demo-quality tracks. Most of the 11 tracks on this album have lyrics, but I personally cannot sing and I do not have the necessary kit to add vocals even if I could. My apologies.

about

Andrew, Wells & Warner Watchet, UK

My music isn't perfect. Perfect costs money - costs me money, that is (not you). This is simply a retirement project, the aim being to get the best sound out of the 1980s electronic organ in my lounge as is possible. So don't criticize just because it doesn't sound like it was recorded on a swish new digital keyboard, in a swish studio by a swish recording engineer. ... more
